TOKOMARU BAY RUGBY

good win p.y watapu (Herald Cori'espbiidviit.) In the first of the home and home representative Rugby football matches played on the Tokomaru Bay ground this season, Waiapu defeated Tokomaru Bay by 19 points to nine. The game was confined chiefly to the forwards, the ground being heavy after rain. Play was very even until halftime, with the score 6-5 in the Bay’s favour. During the last quarter-hour, however, the Bay players tired badly and let Waiapu pile on the points and gain a handsome victory.
