CAGE BIRD SHOW

ATTRACTIVE DISPLAY POVERTY BAY SOCIETY MEMBERS’ EXHIBITION A large and attractive display of cage birds was seen in the Sel\jn Hall, Derby street to-day, when the Poverty Bay Canary and Cage Bird Association held its final menvoeis show for the season. All varieties were judged by Mr. J. Johnstone, other officials being Mr. E. Lindley, show manager, and Messrs. S. McColl and H. O’Connor, stewards. There was keen competition in the different classes and also many special prizes, which had been donated .by the club and local business establishments.
