FANCY DRESS BALL
ORMOND SCHOLARS VARIED COSTUMES (Herald Correspondent.) The Ormond Hall was the scene of much festivity on Thursday evening on the occasion of the Ormond School children’s fancy dress ball. Despite doubtful weather conditions, a large number attended and the children made a gay scene in their varied costumes. Miss .Gooch supplied the music, and Mr. Grayson contributed an extra. The children’s dances were under the control of the headmaster and Miss Hollis, while Mr. J. Winning acted as M.C. for the adults’ portion of the programme. At the conclusion of the children’s dances, Mr. P. Stephenson, chairman of the school committee, thanked the people for their attendance and the ladies’ committee for their generous help.
