G?ey Live Stock Report. Messrs 6. W. Moss and Co. report their sale at Preston Yards yesterday as fol’ows: v The entry consisted of 58 cattle and 170 sheep ex ship, 70 sheep from Grey Valley and Hokitika districts. Lata ruling prices were maintained. We sold the following stock: Fat Cattle.—On account of Mr J. 31’Gregor, 20 prime bullocks £l2 10s to £11; on account of Mr Wm. Weybourne 16 prime bollocks £lll7s 6d to £lO 17s 61, ' ■■ Fat Sheep.—On account of Mrs Donald 50 at 19s; on account of Mr John M’Gregor, 60 heavy wethers 225, 100
heavy ewes 20s; on account of Mr Ke > nedy, 4 at 19s. , * Fat Lambs -On account of Mrs 10 at 13s 6d to 13s 9d; on accoun tof "I* J. Kennedy, 25 at 13s 6d to 14s 9. Mark Sprot and Co report their sale at Preston road yesterday. The entry u iat stock consisted of 54 ca'tle and 140 local sheep and lambs. There was a good attendance of buyers and prices were a shade easier than last sale. Wo sold on account of Abraham and Williams, prime bullocks from £l4 to £11; heifers from £lO 2s 61 to £9 17s Gd. On account of Mr B. Matthews, mixed ewes and wethers (light) at 16s 3d ; fat lambs from 12s 31. On account of Mr Diedtichs, wethers at 18s 3d.
