With a view of finally settling the question of supremacy between Don Walker and the champion Major Taylor, the League of Wheelmen h .vo arranged to run on Wednesday night a series of three, one mile heats. To make the itests thoroughly representative, they have invited nine of the best Australian riders, including Chalmers, to run qualifying events on Monday, the winner of the final to meet Walker on Wednesday night, and the one proving vie orious to ride Taylor for the Championship.
