Trotting Club—lst Day.
The weather was glorious for the Ist day of the Summer Meeting held on Monday, The track was in good order and the racing on the whole good. Among the pretty dresses I noticed • Mrs Young. Stylish striped silk blouse black skirt. • Pretty black and white toque.
Mrs M’Queen. Black merv with sequin trimmings. Pretty toque with chiffon unci pink roses; V- > Mrs Lord. Steel grey Sicilian, with passementerie trimming. Pretty bonnet en suite.
Mrs Morice, Black and white check costume. Black hat with choux of white chiffon. • : -
Mrs Fricker. Olive green costume. Pretty brown bonnet with smart touch of pink.
Mrs Jay. Pawn oos'.ume. Burnt straw hat with black silk folds.
Mrs H. Doogan. Pretty check zephyr. Black chiffon, hat with sequins. Mrs Bull. Smart bluo costume, revers veiled with cream lace. Black chiffon hat with feathers.
Mrs Staoe. Stylish costume of black and white tweed, seams outlined with black silk braid.
Miss Gage. Very pretty chocolate brown cashmere with diagonal folds of darker shade of silk.
Mrs Skoglund. Grass lawn costume. Pretty bonnet with pale blue flowers. Miss Beresford. Black costume. Burnt straw hat with garland of roses. Mrs Beare. Black Eton costumei appliquid with cream guipure. Black toque and feather boa. Mrs Williams. B ack and white ocstume. Silk Maltese sjarf. Black hat with quills. Miss Petrie. Stylish Chinese silk costume, with tinted lace insertions.' White toque with velv.t choux. Mis? M. Thomas. Cream lace blouse over pale gretn. Cherryripe hat with daisies.
Miss G. Wilson. Smart black and white costume, with pretty cream vest. Hat to match.
Miss Bourko. Pretty pompador blouse, lace trimmings. Large hat with silk folds.
