For the Auckland Racing Club's summer meeting, second day, the weather is fine. The following are the events : Alexander Handicap—Glenogle 1, Lietitia 2, Hesper 3. Divs, £3 17s 6d and £1 7s 6d.
Hurdle Handicap—Dingo 1, Bufus 2, Div, £lO 10s 6d. Criterion Handicap—ldas 1, Northumberland 2. Won by two lengths. Time 117 15. Div £2 2s 6d.
The Ashhurst Races, Ashhuest, This Day. There is fine weather and a record attendance.
Trial Hurdles—Great Scott 1, New Zealand 2, Bed Shark 3. Divs, £2 2s and 19s.
Flying—Hokio 1, In the-Van 2, Kowhete 3.
Divs, £5 3s and £3 19s
Guineas—Dexterity 1, Flanagan 2, Explosion 3. Time, 1 27. Divs, £1 7s and £4> Is.
