London December 24.

A train on the Liverpool electric railway tock fire while approaching Dingle underground station, and set fire to heaps of creosoted sleepers. The tunnel rapidly became as hot as a furnace and the train was completely destroyed. The station was damaged and several passengers escaped nearly being suffocated. Six bodies were recovered and it is feared other? peiished.
