[PEK PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.] An Important Decision. Melboukne, Desember 9. The full Court gave judgment in the Octana ship's stores case, and unanimously held that tie clauses of the Federal Customs Act, under which action was taken, is vaLd. The offence was not constituted by breaking the Customs seals when outside the three mile limit, but in bringing the vessel to port after the seals were broken. Judgment was given for plaintiff with costs. The penalties inflicted are five pounds for entering port with broken seals, and 50s for using stores in port not entered for home consumption, which was the test.
