Tired of Life. Dunedin, This Day,
James A. Thompson, aged 32, poisoned himself on Saturday with arsenic. He was employed in Burts as an electroplater. He leaves a wife and five children.
Burglaries in Onehunga.
Auckland, Dec 9
Several burglaries are reported in Onehunga last night. In one case a safe was removed in a hand cart, opened in the street, and contents rifled, but the the thieves got only JGI.
Divorce Court. Dunedin This Day. . In the Divorce Court in the case of Susan Young M’Farlane v. Andrew M’Farlane on the ground of five years desertion, a decree nisi was granted made absolute after three months.
The Supreme Court. Wellington, Dec 9. At the Supreme Court Frank King was convicted for having stolen a bicycle at Pahiatua and was sentenced to two years imprisonment concurrent with the term he is now serving.
