Thieft of Live Stock. Sydney, Dec 5,
Tho employees at Horders, Retford Park Estate, were arrested on a charge of stealing valuable stock. Eleven additional persons including sotno well known farmers in the district were also arrested for being accessories. The stock is valued at £I2OO, but JEIOOO worth has recovered.
The Telegraph Rates Bill. Melbourne, Dec 5,
The Federal Postal Telegraph Rates Bill provides for sixpenny telegrams to town and suburb?, ninepence to other portions of tho State, and one shilling for interstate press wines. Rates are unaltered for newspaper postage being half penny fjr eight ounces.
