Under the Co.'s Act of 19C1, the official assignee in bankruptcy supersedes Messrs Nigers and Simpson, the official liquidators of the Colonial Bank, Mr Graham now becoming the sole liquidator. It is understood that in a short time the bank shareholders will receive a final dividend of Is 2d in the £.

Elver Molyneux Dredging Company At a, meeting of shareholders in the Biver Molyneux Gold Dredging Company held this afternoon, a complaint was made that one of the Directors who was greatly in arrear with his calls, was drawing fees as a Director. This was one of the matters adversely reported on in connection with Mr Herbert Easton's petition to Parliament. .
The Caversham Election. Yet another candidate is in the field for Caversham, Mr J. MeMi'e, who a few years ago used to regularly po'ition Parliament on account of fancied grievance. He announces himself in the labor interest.
