Of the Committee deserving special notice, are Messrs B. Gregory and W. Rogers, as assistants -. to the Starter, Mr W. Smith, who, with / but one exception, got his fields away splendidly. The Secretary, Mr Fleming, upon whom most of the work fell, deserves special praise for carrying out the meeting so suscessfully. The President, Mr "Jock" Leitch, managed his Committee in a masterly manner. The Blackball Band marched through the township to , the ground and played several selections during the afternoon. The day's sport was brought to a close by a danee in the schoolroom conducted by the Sport's Committee.
