Liverpool Bank Swindle. London, Nov 28.
Barry Aarks, a Mexican bookmaker, is implicated in the Bank of Liverpool frauds. He secured a passage from Boulogne to Folkestone with the expressed intention of meeting the charge, when the steamer arrived. Only hi* luggage was found. It is believed be did not embark, and feigned to have committed suicide. Miss Stone.
Miss Stone's captors refused £1,300 as a ransom.
