Grey Live Stock Report

Messrs G. W. Moss and Co report the sales at Preston yards as follows : The entry consisted of 100 head exceptionally prime heavy bullocks, 400 heavy crossbreds, being in excess of requirements. Prices ruled easier and a number of sheep were unsold. We sold the following stock—

Fat Cattle—-On account of Mr Thomas Strutters, 13 prime heavy weight bulloeks from £lllss to £lO. On account of Mr John M'Gregor, 35 prime heavy weight bullocks from £lllos to £9 12s 6d. Fat Sheep—On account of Mr John M'Gregor, 150 ewes and wethers (mixed) 19s 6d to 18s 6d.
