Dunedin, This Day,

Mr M. L. Moss, who has accepted office in the new Wcstralian Ministry, is a native of Dunedin, and is a brother of Miss Antia Moss, the well-known singer. He is a lawyer practising at Freemantle, and has been Mayor of that city, and has a seat in the Legislativo Council of his State.

Mr Moss practised his profession in Hokitika for several years. Mr C. M. Howison formerly a partner in the once well-known firm of Hogg, Howison and Nicol, died at his residence Roslyn to-day. He was for many years a prominent bowler and golfer.
