At the Wellington Trotting races today the totalisator tickets were £1 on the first race and 10s on the others. The following are the results Trial Handicap—Brookfield 1, B.J.N. 2, Trip 3. Piyg £1 7s and £1 14s.

Railway Handicap—Steve Hart 1, Plunger 2, St Kilda 3. Divs, £ll4s and 16s.

Pony Handicap—Daybreak 1, Timite 2, Miss French 3. Divs £1 3s and 9s. Wellington Trotting Club’s Handicap —Carrie 1, St Simon 2, Sweet Marie 3. Divs 14s and Bs.

President’s Handicap—Ned Kelly 1, Perewiti 2, Comet 3. Divs £1 8s and £8 4s. Pony Handicap—Silvercliffe 1, Miss French 2, Daybreak 3. Divs, 17s and 20s.

Dash Handicap —St Simon 1, Leda 2, Steve Hart 3. Divs £2 19s and £4.

The Wellington Races

The weather is fine overhead, but a strong northerty wind is blowing across the course, which is in fairly good order. The attendance is large. The following are the results :

November Handicap—Cornea and Indian Shot a dead heat, Aidc-de-Camp 3. Ali started. Time, 1 45 2-5 ; divs : Cornea, £5 12s Od and Indian Shot £6 15s.

Nursery Handicap Rajah 2, Hanna 3. Stepdaughter was scratched. Won by half a length after a great race. Time, 1 3 1-5. Divs: Imperator £2 8s and Rajah £2 13s. Wellington Handicap—Cannic duel 1, Tortulla 2, Kahuwal 3. Shannon was scratched. Tortulla led into the straight, but Cannie duel passed her in the run home and won by half a length, a similar distance between second and third horse. Time, 212 2-5. Hi vs. Cannie duel £3 155,; Tortulla, £1 11s.
