Arahura Live Stock Report.
Messrs G. W. Moss and Co. report their sale at Arahura yesterday as follows :—Fat cattle—On account of Mr Thomas Struthers, 27 prime extra heavy weight bullocks from £ll 10s to £9 17s 7d, averaging £lolss 6d.
Mark Sprot and Co. report their sale at Arahura yesterday. The entry consisted of 43 very prime North Island bullocli s, and 37 loed and south steers heifers. Current rates ruled and the entry was cleared. Owing to the flooded state of the Kokatahi river, the advertised entry of Bheep was not forthcoming. We sold on account of Mr H. Diedrichs, 25 steers and heifers from £9 2s 6d and £5 2 ; on account of Messrs Abraham and Williams, 20 bullocks from £ll 5s to £10; on account of Mr Haddock, 12 steers at an average of £9. Sheep—On account of Messrs Abraham and Williams, 56 ewes at 21s 3rd.
