GREY MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
(Before Dr. M'Brearty, J.P.) Tiioksday, Novemusr lltii, DRUNKENNESS. A first offender for drunkenness was convicted and fined 5/-. THIBET. L. Anderson was charged with thieft of two £5 bank notes—one issued by the Bank of Now Zealand and numbered 315,567, and the other by the bank of New South Wales and numbered 11,352 —the property of James McLollao, of Moana. The Inspector of Police in applying for a remand, stated that another man was implicated in the affair, but so far the Police could not effect an arrest. The Bench granted a remand for eight days.
