Railway Accidents in 1900.
jLiaunajf Abbiuoubo m iawv. A Board of Trade report has just been issued dealing with the accidents that have occurred in the working of railways in the United Kingdom during the year 1900. No fewer than 1250 persons were killed and 7353 injured. In addition, 75 persons were killed and 12,219 injured from accidents on the companies’ premisse, but unconnected with the movement of railway vehicles. Thus, taking the total number of personal accidents during the twelve months, there were 1325 killed and 19,572 injured.
