A REEFTON WEDDING.

A very popular wedding was celebrated Bt St. Stephen’s Church, ileefton, yesterday, when Mr A. H. Lawn, second son of Mr T. Lawn, the well known mine manager, and Mias Harriet Noble, daughter of Mr Joseph Noble of Brunnerton, were united in the bonds of holy matrimony by the Eev H. York. The bride, who looked exceedingly pretty, wore a white silk dress trimmed with pasamentrie and lace, and a floral toque, Misa Noble, slater of the bride, was bridesmaid, and was dressed in a stylish costume of pale pink with hat to match, and Mr N. Lawn acted aa best man, the bride being given away by her father. As the young couple left the church a shower of rice and other emblems of good luck were thrown after them. In the afternoon the friends of the happy pair were entertained at a wedding breakfast at the residence of the bridegroom’s parents. The newly married couple left in the evening for Inangahua Junction, en route for Nelson where they spend their honejmoon. The presents were very numerous, many of them being handsome and costly.
