MR SEDDON’S FUTURE.
Members are seriously diseussir 0 what the recess ii likely to bring forward. There seems to be a concensus opinion that tho Premier after going Home for the Coronation will not return to the colony to take an active part in the politics of tho colony, but whether he will resign till after next session seems to be a moot point. Of course it is recognised that Sir J. G, Ward is the only possible successor of Mr Seddon, and the prevailing opinion is that when Sir Joseph’s time comes he will completely reconstruct the Cabinet.
