After passing the abattoirs Khaki, took charge, with Revenue handy and San Fran two lengths away. As they swept into the straight Khaki was on the inside, Revenue on the outside, and San Fran in the centre, the trio being well together. At the distance the race narrowed itself to a struggle between Revenue and San Fran, of which the former had all the best, and was landed a winner by half a length, a length and a half seperating the second and third, Wakeful fifth, the last three being Rockleigh, Gunbearer and Carbineer. Time 3 301,-. Victoria Steeplechase—Mutiny 1, Lemonade 2, Volcanic 2. 10 to 1 Mutiny who won easily. Time 4 15.

Yan Yean Stakes—Kooma 1, Game Boy 2, Ampier 3, 0 to 1. Kooma, who won by three-quarters of a length. Time 1 43.

Colt Stakes—Point Piper 1, Lord Middleton 2, Oakwook 3. sto 4 on Point Piper, who won by half a length. Time 16.
