FIRE IN WELLINGTON.

Wellington, This Day.
A three story wood and iron building in Victoria Street owned the Australian Widows Fund Insurance Co. and occupied by McKee and Co. and Mrs Mayer, shirt manufacturer, was wholly destroyed by fire this morning.
The building was insured in the Guardian office for £IOOO, and in the Commercial Union for £SOO.
McKee’s plant and stock was insured ’or £2,068 in various offices.
Mrs Mayer’s for £3OO in the New Zealand.
Sargood Son and Ewenwho had material at her factory for making up, had it insured for £IOO in the Now Zealand.
