Melbodbnb, Oct 30, Melba in a cabled letter to the Australian press, expresses pleasure at the prospect of a renewal of friendship with people among whom she was born and brought up. She explains that, many previous rumours of her intention to visit the colonies were never authorised by her. The engagement now is necessarily, limited to September, October, and November. Present arrangements do not include New Zealand.
