DRUID’S CRICKET CLUB.

The Druid’s Lodge, having decided to form a Cricket Club held a meeting last evening for the purpose of electing officers, etc. Mr G. Martin was voted to tho chair.

It was decided that tho name of the club should bo “Tho Druid’s Cricket Club,” Tho following officers were elected: President, Dr Jas M'Brearty; VicePresidents, Messrs W. Rao, W. R. Kettle, J, W. Easson, J. E. Lutz, F. Kilgour, F. Austin, J. M‘Garth}’, J. Kerr, G. Martin, G. Anderson, 0. A. Wainwright; Captain, T. Redmond; Vice-Captain, A. Fraser; Secretary, H. E, West; Treasurer, J. M'Brearty; Committee, Captain, ViceCaptain, Secretary, F. Garth, F. Keddell, and A. Kilgour.

Mr Garth intimated that he would present a silver medal to tho best bowler of the season.

Matches will be played with a number of Lodges during the season, and one of the members intimated that if the match against Reefton Lodge was successful, ho would give them a supper. 10/- was tho amount fixed for tho subscription for the season.
