Colonel Colenbrander with Kitchener's fighting scouts, captured 42 Boers on the western border at Zoutspanberg.

It is reported that Commandant Botha is at Pietersdorp. A number of Boers are hiding in the "Wmberg forest. General Walter Kitchener is trying to surround them.

Campbell's column has recovered at Slangapies. Gough's two guns were captured by the Boers at Scheeper's Nek.
