Scarlatina Cases. Wellington, This Day. The scarlatina patients on the Gothic were three children, who, with their mothers, have been removed to Berhampore fewer hospital. The remaining passengers were allowed to land on leaving their names and addresses. The vessel was fumigated. There is also scarlatina on board H.M.S. Eingarooma. One man was removed to the hospital, and three cases have since developed on board, South African NursesDunedin, This Day.

At the presentation of the South African Medal to Nurse Monson, J. F. Fraser mentioned that there was still a credit to the nurses’ fund and hoped, when the other four returned, the Committee would be in a position to present each with a £SO cheque.
