Heavy rain fell last night and this morning, which rendered the course heavy. ■ Despite the weather, there was a large attendance. The results are,: — Emo Hurdles —Rackstraw 1, Tatter Wallop 2, Boloka 3 12 started. Betting 5 to 1 Rackstraw. Won easily Time 4 37.

Caulfield Stakes Wakeful 1, Hymettns 2, Australian Colors 3. Seven others ran. Betting even. Sequence, 3 to 1 Wakeful. The laiter led shortly after the start and was never again headed and won easily by six lengths. Time 1 53J. CAULFIELD GUINEAS. Ibex ... 1 Haymaker 2 Grasspan 8 The other starters were Hautviiliers, Corsican, and Caravel. Betting 10 to 1 on Hautviiliers, 4to I against Ibex.
