Common sixties IBld to 19d ; superior 181 d to 19Ad. At the wool sales, the prices compared with July for fine merinos were fully 10 per cent higher ; medium is low, 7i per cent. Crossbreds were sold irregularly from 5 to 7h per cent higher ; medium low sorts generally lost the opening improvements ; lamb wool ten per cent higher quality. Catalogued to date 273,631 bales; sold to Home buyers 139,000; Continent 127,000 ; American 3,000; held over 33,500.
