The following events came to hand before going to press:— Maiden Plate—Onutae 1, Pure Silver 2, {lndiana 3. Scratched—Kohai, Waitoa, Arawa, and Koroeru. Won easily by a length and a half, Divs, £2 and £3 2s. Te Hiwi Memorial Stakes—First Light 1, Beau Ideal 2, Eketerini Passeroupoulo 3, Scratched—-Hardwork. Won by a long neck. Divs, £3 18s and 13s. Hurdles—Tokatea 1, Grey Ribbon 2, Auralme 3. Scratched—Voltaire and Puanga. Tokanui, Kaiwhakaroa, and Silvertail fell at the first fence. Won by two lengths. Divs., £3 18s and 18s. Demonstration Handicap—Cornea f, Legion of Honor f, Punawai 3. First Light scratched. Slashing race, Punawai only half a length away. Divs £213 and £ll3s
