GREYMOUTH JOCKEY CLUB.

The monthly meeting of the above club was held last night. Present, Messrs Petrie, (chair) Walton, Bignell, Ponsonby, M'Carthy, Claugbesy, Blair, Yarrall and Doogan. Besolved that letter from Kelson Club as to how Kelson Club’s Trainers and Jockey’s Fund was disposed of be forwarded on to the Chairman of the Eating Conference. It was resolved to support the Wairaxapa Olub in its endeavors to get trainers and jockeys b:ought under the Employers Liability Act. Jockey Licenses were granted to P. Boche and P. Moran, and trainers license to P. Hennighan. The purchasing of a horse for the racecourse was left in the hands of Messrs Gieseking and Claugbesy to deal with. The programme of the Kew Tear’s meeting was adopted. It provides for £I,OOO in prize money, there beiug 14 events, seven each day as follows FIRST DAY. Omoto Handicap of £SO; seven furlongs. Mawhera Handicap of £25 ; one mile. Graymouth Cup of £2OO ; one and a half miles. Hurdles of £7O ; one and three quarters miles. Welter of £SO; six furlongs. Paparoa Hack £25 ; seven furlongs. Brunner Handicap of £IOO ; seven furlongs. 1

SECOND DAY. Flying Stakes of £SO : six furlongs. Blackball Hack of £25 ; one mile. Grey Valley Stakes of £l5O ; one and a quarter miles. Maitai Hack of £25 ; six furlongs.

New Tear’s Handicap of £100; six lu) longs. Farewell Handicap of £SO; one mile.
