Auckland, Sept 28 At the concluding day of the Avondale Jockey Club’s Spring Meeting to-day the weather was overcast, but fine. The amount put through the totalisator was £9,004. Time, 257 ; divs, £2O 7s and 18s. Third Hack Handicap—Sparkling "Water 1, Grassy 2, La Polish 2. Also ran— Pocket, Head, Millie, Capford, Evert, and Amahuntus. Time, 16; divs, £1 18s and £2 17s.
Welter Handicap—" Winsome 1, Blaircarcig 2, Golden Rose 3. Also ran—Tukapa, Maroon and Gold, Sly Miss, Tiki, Cavalry, .Kissalico, Lance Corporal, The Don, and Khama. Time, 1 18 ; ciivs, £1 18s and £2 9s.
Steeplechase—Sudden 1, Voltigeur II 2, Dingo 3. Also ran—Marine, Biot, and Tarragon 3. Time, 5 20; divs £2l7s and 15s.
Grandstand Handicap—Val Rosa 1, Winsome 2, Regalia 3. Also ran—St Ursula, St Olga, and Yolee. Time, 1 43; divs £1 14s and £2 10.
Electric Handicap—Takapuna 1, Deli Rose 2. Despatch 3. Scratched —Tiki, Klondyke, and Amahantus. Time, <57 sec., div. £6 9s and £1 12'.
