At a meeting of the Queen’s Memorial fund the subscriptions were stated to have totalled £2,322. It was decided to accept the design in marble of the late Queen Victoria, with two figures and two panels in bronze at a cost of £2400 in Dunedin subject to the blaster , model meeting with approval. The Estimates. The consideration of the Estimates will be resumed to-morrow, but the remainder of the week will be devoted to bills in order to provide work for the Council.
