A NOTABLE EVENT.
The famous Newbury-Spada Company, who are to appear for a short season here commencing next Friday and Saturday evening, are of World famed order. During the last six years these famous singers have travelled most successfully, and have appeared before all the crowned heads of Europe, and specially engaged to sing at the State concert given by the citizen? of Sydney to the Duke and Duchess of York in the Sydney Town Hall. During the last 22 months they have entertained over 400,000 people in the Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney Town Halls. Since their last appearance on the Coast, they have been strengthened ▼considerably by the inclusion of Mr Arthur Hahn, the popular basso; Mr Archibald Scott, baritone; and Mias Jennie West ‘(solo pianistc.) It will be seen from the above that the residents of this town have a rare treat in store for them, as this is positively the last chance the public of the West Coast will have of bearing so gifted a combination. We trust the musical fraternity will show their appreciation by greeting them with hamper bouses during their short season here. The box plan is now open at Perkins, booksellers.
