A further week’s leave of absence has been granted, to the member for Hawke’s Bay owing to illness. The Hon. gentleman*, I learn, is suffering from a severe attack of influenza, which may necessitate his absence from the House for some time. Mrs. Russell has come down from Flaxmere to nurse her husband.
