Condolence. Wellington, This Day.
As a mark of respect to the late President M'Kinley and Scobie MaoKenzie, the House adjourned to-day after resolutions of condolence have been passed. The Premier yesterday telegraphed to Mrs S. M'Konzio expressing his deep sympathy with her in the groat trial and trouble that has fallen upon her. Parliamentary Excursion. The members of the House will make a Parliamentary excursion *o Napier on Saturday, returning on Monday. The Counties Bills. Wellington, This Day.
When the Counties Bill is before the House, Mr M’Nab will seek to include clauses in it, empowering a Council to establish electric light works or purchase existing works and to supply electricity either within or without the County under its jurisdiction.
