President M'Kinley.
[per PRESS ASSOCIATION COPYRIGHT.] Washington, September 13. A bulletin at 8 30 this evening states that President MTLinley’s condition is not quite so good. The food disagreed with him and was discontinued. The pulse was unsatisfactory, but is now improving. The wound is progressing well. His temperature is 100 1-5, the pulse 128.
London, September 13. Mr Alvey Adce, second assistantsecretary of State, cabled to Mr Choate President M‘Kinley’s deep appreciation of King Edward’s message and an especial and earnest acknowledgement of Hopctoun and .Ranfurly’s cables. Mr Adce added that these expressions of heartfelt sympathy came from the remotest quarters of the wide British Empire, all springing from a brotherly interest, were warmly appreciated by the President’s country, Washington, September 13. President M'Kinley took coffee, toast and chicken broth frequently with ounces of beef extract, and merely complained of fatigue. Czolgosz’s family came from Manin, in Posen.
Ottawa, September 13. The Mayor of Montreal warned 12 Italian Anarchisms from Patterson against coming to Canada to plot against the Corn walls’ life.
The police are not anxious ; but with the view of redoubling precautions, arrested hundreds of suspicious characters in Montreal and many other cities, all of whom will be detained till after the visit.
