The Privilege Question. Wellington, This Day. One outcome of the privilege business which comes before the House to-morrow will be that proceedings of committees except secret committees will be thrown open. A majority of members of the House are ignorant of the fact that such practice is in vogue in the Imperial Parliament and express their preparedness to fall into line to the extent of permitting committees to be reported by the press from day to day. Hemp Grading.
The Cabinet has decided to proceed with the Bill for compulsory grading of hemp for export.
University Bill. It has also been decided to proceed with the New Zealand University Act Amendment Bill.
