Burglary. Dunedis, September 9. The dynamite burglary at the Milburn lime and cement company's works was carried out on similar lines to that at Bterbert Haynes and Co's premises some time ago. The storeman in passing the premises on Sunday and Monday noticed the door open and discovered that a robbery had been committed, the safe having been opened with a charge of dynamite. In order to deaden the noise of the explosion the burglars had used paper and the door mat. They got about £3 in money. The burglars were evidently disturbed, as they left a charge in another safe unfired and their tools scattered about.
