Sydney, September 3. The robber and the bicycle were traced back to Whitecliffs, where he dismounted • at a verandah, and then evidently shouldered his bicycle and hid his tracks. The bicyclist who came while the robbery was proceeding was detained by the police. A lady passenger remained on the box ’ seat with her dress and rug covering the boot of the coach containing parcels of opals. Pedrana, the driver of the coach, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the robbery. He was acting as a substitute forithe regular driver.
