Rhyee (Auckland, 7th Contingent), both doing well.” The departures from Capetown by the ■steamer Sophocles are: —Sixth Contingent, Sergt-Major S. Skerman (Dunedin), Lance-Corporal M. R. Herbert (Wellington), Troopers J. D. Williamson (Marlborough), J. E. Edgan (Wellington), E. A. Millar (Blenheim), W. Thompson (Dunedin), 3454 Willis L.L. R. R.. Hooke (Hokianga), A. J. Davidson (Pairlie 1 , Canterbury) ; Seventh Contingent, Troopers J. Farley (Dunedin), T. Butler (Manaia_, Wanganui), Troopers 1345 Lappers, 2345 (?) Wills, 2301 S. A. C. Lapper; Fifth Contingent, Macilvie (?) 4662 Kulme.
