Melbourne, August 27. In the Assembly the State Treasurer delivered his Budget. The revenue for the year is £8,087,000, of which £360,0(X is returned. The Commonwealth's actual receipts are £605,000 more than the estimated increase, and largely discounted the unusual expenditure connected with the Eoyal visit arid Federal celebrations. The total expenditure was £7,709,000, £228,000 more than had been estimated. It is expected to close the year with a credit balance of £136,000.
