Burglary. Received this day at 9 20 a m. Sydney, August 19. 29 burglars secured £SOO worth of jewellery out of Burks, pawnbrokers, on Saturday night. Federal Rifle Association. Brisbane August 19. At a meeting of the Federal Rifle Association Council Lieutenant-Colonel Davies, of New Zealand, was present. It was decided to ask the Federal Minister of Defence to place £15,000 on the estimates for Interstate and International matches.
