Wellington, August 16. The Wellington Rugby Union has submitted the mines of Wrigby, Wallace, Wood, Meredith, Kelly, Wylie, and Dodd to the selectors of the New Zealand team.
Sydney, August 16. The Football Premiership this season is divided between the University and Globe. This course was necessary owing to four of tho leading players of the latter team being away with tho team iu New Zealand, and tho Universiiy declining to play off against weakened opponents.
