New York, August 13. The American strike leaders are disap pointed at the refusal of the men of the Western States to assist them. Eight tin-plate mills in Ohio, employing 8,000 men, are ordered to be dismantled and removed.
The oven mills at M’Keesport are simi--1 larly threatened. Many cities have offered the steel trustmoney and land and remission of taxes tc bring their mills to their locality.
