There was an imposing procession at ' Potsdam, the bands playing funeral marches The cortege traversed Sanszou i Park (from which the public were excluded) to the mausoleum, amid the tolling of bells and the booming of cannon. Count von Waldersee carried the deceased’s Crown. The Kaiser and Edward attended in uniform of the Prussian Dragoon Guards. Pastor Persins officiated at the mausoleum. The service was of the simplest character—a prayer, Psalm, and hymns. Simultaneous services were held in London, Paris, The Hague, Gibraltar, Whippingham, Craithie, and many other places.
