: “The Week’s Catch.” Received this day at 9 a. m, - London, August 12, Orabbe engaged Kruitzinger, pursuing him to the north-west of Middleburg capturing 'l<X> horses. Lord Kitcheners weekly report shows that the enemy lost 39 killed, and 30 wounded, including Commandant Moll (dangerously); 685 prisoners including Wolwarans, Chairman of the Yolksraad; 85 surrendered 24,000 rounds of ammunition; 254 wagons; 5058 horses and cattle were captured mostly in the Orange Colony.
Whan evacuting Vanrhynadorp, the Bperi. captured ; Vanryhn who was recently bailed on a charge of treason, and two political prisoners who refused to accompany them.
London, August 13The steady execution of rebels is im pressing the disloyalists.
Two'Boers at St Helena swam to a boat and sailed away, but were re-cap-tured ten miles out.
Special patrols are circulating Lord Kitchener’s proclamation.
