London, July 2. A laager at Jouhert’s farm was surprised on the 29th, when seven Boers were killed and seven captured. 200 cattle and GO horses were taken. The British came off seathlcss. Surgeon-Major Thomas Burns, of Now Zealand, is convalescent, and has resumed his duty. There is widespread indignation in England at the shooting of the natives, and at Kruitziuger’e threats.
