ANOTHER LALOR DECISION.

Judgment was given in the Arbitration Court on Saturday upon the charge made against a pork butcher of infringing the award by employing a non-unionist in business which he had lately bought. The Offence was that he was not bound by award, as he had acquired the business since it was made.
Justice Cooper supported this contention and dismissed the case, holding that sub-section 3 of section 86 of last year’s Act only applied to awards made under that Act.
